FAQ

I recently bought a Polygon bicycle and noticed that I scratch the paint work because of a fall. Can I send the frame for warranty?
No. Polygon bicycle warranty covers the frame and fork for the period of 5 years against manufacturer’s defect. Imperfections of paint due to rider’s negligance is not covered.

I bought a Marin bicycle 2nd hand from an online site and notice that there is a crack on the rear swing arm. I read and understand that the bicycle model has still a few years left on the warranty. Can I send the frame down for claim?
No. Marin warranty covers only for the original purchaser of the bicycle and it’s warranty is not transferable to the other party. It’s the same for Polygon and Colnago.

I have recently purchased a Colnago online as it was cheaper than getting it from the shop. Does the warranty applies?
No. To curb grey area bicycle and also bicycle components. Rodalink will honour warranty of bicycles that are sold from the outlets or from respective authorised dealer. This is also valid for Polygon, Marin, Shimano components and also Marzocchi forks.

Recently I got a EPS frame from one of the Rodalink outlets can I have it fixed at a different shop who is not the authorised dealer for colnago?
You could fix the frame up at any bicycle shop but the warranty for the frame is void. This is also the same for Polygon and Marin.

Why can’t I fix it at my shop of choice and not at Rodalink and also their authorised dealer?
It’s to ensure that all frame/components are assemble in the proper manner and with the proper tools. Improper handling, lack of technical competence and proper tools will automatically void the warranty.

I have bought a Marzocchi fork from one of the outlets and after I have up the fork I notice that there is excessive leaking coming from the lower legs of the forks. What should I do?
Bring the product back to shop that you purchased. They would inspect the fork and find out the cause of the problem. We would have the faulty parts change and labour and oil charges are tree.

I have bought a brand x bike that is fitted with the new ultrger groupset. After riding for a few weeks I found out that the front shifter is stuck and it won’t shift. Can I claim it through Rodalink?
No. It’s best for you to send it back to the bike shop that is the dealer/distributor of that particular brand. We are trying to weed out grey area components. Proof of purchase is a must if you purchase the components from Rodalink or authorised dealer. The receipt is needed to check date of purchase of the item to determine that the product is still under warranty. This also true for marzocchi.
